About Us...
Restorations Incorporated was started in 1968 by Dean and Joanne Newberg, in a small addition Dean built himself off of the family home. Originally named ABC Construction (for ‘Always Better Construction’) the company quickly grew out of that location, and several more, until finally moving to the present location at the corner of Hall and Division streets in Grand Rapids. The name was changed in 1985 to better reflect the companies’ quality work in restoring damaged buildings and homes.
Restorations Incorporated continued personal commitment to quality service and attention to detail was guaranteed when the second generation began operating Restorations, Inc. In 1998, the Newberg’s daughter, Elizabeth Holmes, joined the family company, becoming president in 2005. Since she has joined the company, Restorations has obtained “Preferred Contractor Status” for almost every insurance company operating in Michigan.
